Audi Select Car Subscription Plan Starts at $1,395 a Month!
In some non-supercar news, Audi will let you drive a bunch of their cars at $1,395 a month as part of the Audi Select car subscription program. Pilot testing has begun in Texas.
Car subscription is becoming more and more popular these days. Latest in line to join the bandwagon – after BMW, Volvo, Cadillac and Porsche – is Audi. They are starting slow and small though with a pilot program in Texas. The Audi Select car subscription plan will let you pick a car of your choice from the Audi A4, Audi S5 coupe, Audi A5 convertible, Audi Q5 and the Audi Q7, for long term use.
Automotive News reports that the program comes packed with the option to swap cars twice a month and keep one particular car for up to 6 months. You don’t have to worry about insurance, taxes or maintenance as the Audi Select fee of $1,395 a month will cover all of that. You got to take care of the fuel expenses though.
Here’s an added bonus. Audi car rentals for 24 days through the Silvercar rental services in 24 domestic markets in the US, comes bundled with the monthly subscription package.
And how do you qualify for the Audi Select program? Applicants with 25 years of age and a valid driver’s license which hasn’t got a lot of red marks all over it will be considered to sign on.
Currently, only five dealerships in the Dallas-Fort Worth region in Texas will be offering the car subscription services. Audi will expand to other parts of the US based on the response received in the following months.
