Audi RS6 GT continues testing at the Nurburgring

Recent spy images have confirmed that Audi is working on a sportier version of the RS6 Avant. Rumors suggest that it could be called the RS6 GT. Now, the same prototype we saw in the images has been caught on video.

Sources tell us that the Audi RS6 GT is likely to be produced in limited numbers. We don’t know the exact number of cars that could be on offer, but we’ve been told that each car will be numbered.

The standard RS6 is powered by a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 that generates 621 hp and 627 lb-ft of torque. Now if the latest rumors are anything to go by then, the upcoming Audi RS6 GT could pack around 700 hp. That’s 80 hp more than the standard car.

Audi is also expected to make some aero and chassis tweaks as well. The prototype seen in this video has a more sporty body kit with wide fenders and aggressive bumper and side skirts. It also features a larger wing at the back.
