Aston Martin Vantage F1 Safety Car to debut at the Saudi GP
The 2025 Aston Martin Vantage is all set to assume the duties as the official F1 Safety Car for the 2024 season at the Saudi Arabian GP. A DBX 707 will be the Medical Car.
The new Vantage Formula 1 Safety Car features several upgrades over the standard road car. It has an extended front splitter, a modified underfloor, a new rear wing fitted in a bespoke position with a tuned Gurney and a new FIA lightbar.
Inside the Vantage Safety Car gets Pole Position Seats, a bespoke centre console with screens showing the live lap times, the track positioning of all of the cars and a rear-view camera.
The new Vantage is powered by an upgraded 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine that develops 656 hp and is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission. The road version can accelerate from 0-60 mph in 3.4 seconds and has a top speed of 202 mph.
