Aston Martin Valkyrie’s V12 Sounds like an F1 car on Steroids
Aston Martin has released a sound clip of the Valkyrie’s Cosworth V12 engine. We think that the car sounds absolutely insane and I’m sure you will agree.
The Valkyrie uses a 6.5-liter, naturally aspirated V12 engine built by Cosworth. The engine is likely to produce close to 1000 hp making it the world’s most powerful atmospheric V12. The internal combustion engine will be assisted by electric motors for an even higher output figure. What you hear in the sound clip is probably the engine for the street legal Valkyrie. But, that’s not even the craziest version of the car. The Valkyrie AMR Pro will be even more insane.
Our sources tell us that the unveiling of the first prototype has been delayed. It was initially scheduled to be revealed this month. However, pre-production testing is likely to commence once the prototypes are ready. Meanwhile, a “demonstration prototype” of the Valkyrie AMR Pro is likely to debut at the 24 Hours of Le Mans next year.

Aston Martin is also working on a baby Valkyrie dubbed the AM-RB 003. It will reportedly be powered by a V6 hybrid powertrain.
