Aston Martin Valkyrie prototype almost wrecks out at Silverstone

We know it’s April fool’s day, and there’s a lot of misleading content currently on the internet. However, the video you’re about to watch is 100% real. If it weren’t for sheer luck and some skill, we were about to witness the first crash involving an Aston Martin Valkyrie.

In the short 11 sec long clip, you can see the hypercar losing control and veering toward the barrier. Fortunately, the driver was able to regain control at the right time.

We’ve been told that the car seen in this video is a Valkyrie prototype (VP8). It appears that the rear just gave up as it was exiting a corner at Silverstone. It is unclear if it was a lack of grip due to cold tires or insufficient rear downforce. The prototype is said to have suffered some damage, despite the driver’s quick reactions.
