Aston Martin V12 Vantage with manual gearbox officially teased!

It seems the rumors were true. Aston Martin has indeed lined up a manual Vantage. The latest teaser released by the automaker hints at just that.

The first teaser showcases a stylish gear lever with a crystal and a wooden knob. It looks like an old-school gated manual from this angle. The second image shows a set of three pedals – that’s all an enthusiast would ever ask for.

Reports suggest that Aston Martin could offer a highly exclusive version of the V12 Vantage equipped with a manual transmission. The car is likely to be powered by the 5.2-liter twin-turbo V12 engine that makes 690 hp and 555 lb-ft of torque.

The Aston Martin V12 Vantage made its debut last year as a limited edition model, with only 333 coupes and 249 roadsters built. The manual gearbox might also be offered in both body styles, albeit in even fewer numbers.
