Aston Martin teaser hints at Valkyrie Le Mans Hypercar program
Recently, there have been reports of Aston Martin planning its return to Le Mans. The latest teaser shared by the brand hints at just that. Thankfully, we won’t have to wait much longer, as the announcement will be made on October 4, 2023.
According to a report, Aston Martin is likely to return to the top-class at Le Mans with the US-based Heart of Racing team. The report also states that Aston has appointed Adam Carter, former engineering director at Williams F1 to oversee the project.
We might finally see the Valkyrie race in the Hypercar class, going head-to-head with the likes of Ferrari, Toyota and Porsche. It could be a toned-down version of the Valkyrie AMR Pro, which is powered by a Cosworth-sourced 6.5-liter naturally aspirated V12 engine paired with a hybrid system.
