Aston Martin DB12 leaked ahead of its official debut
The first images of the Aston Martin DB12 have leaked online ahead of its debut. The DB11 successor will be officially unveiled later today.
In terms of styling, the Aston Martin DB12 looks like an evolution of the DB11, which is perfectly fine as it is one of the best-looking GT cars around even today. The DB12 does receive a few design tweaks though. The front end looks more imposing with the large grille and redesigned air dam. The headlamps have been reprofiled and feature Aston’s new LED signature. The side profile and rear end remain unchanged except for a few minor tweaks.
Step inside, and you are greeted by a thoroughly revamped cabin. It looks almost Bentley-esque in here. There’s a new 3-spoke steering wheel, a digital instrument cluster and redesigned centre console with a wide touchscreen infotainment system. Aston is said to have developed the software for the infotainment in-house.
Under the bonnet, the DB12 is likely to get an AMG-sourced twin-turbo V8 engine. It is said that Aston Martin has retuned it to suit the DB12, and is estimated to produce around 650-690 hp.
