The hottest version of the Aston Martin DB12 is currently in the works. It is likely to be called the DB12 AMR, along the lines of its predecessor, the DB11 AMR.

The DB12 AMR test mule was sporting a more aggressive body kit, featuring a redesigned front bumper with enlarged vents and a unique splitter, extended side skirts and a bespoke rear bumper with vertically stacked quad exhausts.

The 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 powering the DB12 AMR is expected to pack a bigger punch, compared to the standard car. Currently, this unit puts out 671 hp and 590 lb-ft of torque. So, a peak output of around 700 hp would nicely position it under the Vanquish.
