Alfa Romeo Tipo 33 Stradale-inspired supercar to debut on August 30
Alfa Romeo is all set to unveil a new supercar on August 30. The new limited edition will be inspired by the gorgeous Tipo 33 Stradale.
We’ve been reporting about a Tipo 33 Stradale homage being in the works since last year. We finally have a confirmation of the unveiling, courtesy of a teaser shared by the automaker.
We can expect the Tipo 33 Stradale homage to borrow design cues from the original. Renderings of the car were shared with dealers last year itself. It’s still unclear if a design house like Zagato is directly involved in the project.
Rumours suggest Tipo 33 Stradale homage model could be called ‘6C’. It could be powered by a twin-turbo V6 from the Giulia Quadrifoglio, albeit in a higher state of tune.
Alfa Romeo hasn’t revealed details of the exact number of cars it plans to build, but CEO Jean-Philippe Imparato has confirmed that it’s already sold out. This highly exclusive model is expected to have a price tag of over 2 million.
