Alfa Romeo supercar could use an 800 hp V6 hybrid

Next month, Alfa Romeo will unveil its new flagship supercar. It is likely to be a homage to the iconic Tipo 33 Stradale.

Now, a new media report has shed more light on the technical details of Alfa’s supercar. It could be powered by a 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 from the Maserati MC20. However, it is likely to get a hybrid boost. While the stock engine packs 621 hp and 538 lb-ft of torque, the hybrid version could pack as much as 800 hp.

The Alfa Romeo supercar will most likely be sold out before its unveiling at the end of next month. Being a limited edition model, we expect it to have a six-figure price tag.

Rumours also suggest Tipo 33 Stradale homage model could be called ‘6C’.
