The new Ford GT is coming! The upcoming Ford GT just got a its own website complete with a configurator for us lot to create the GT of your dreams. So, thank you Ford.

The Ford GT configurator also details some of the options that will be available for prospective owners. The list includes a total of eight body colors and hues for the racing stripe. Exterior customization options also include carbon fiber or gloss black side skirts, diffuser and splitter kit.

Ford will offers a range of lightweight wheels on the Ford GT. Carbon fiber wheels in gloss or matte finish seem to be an attractive option as do the one-piece forged aluminum sets. Customers can opt for interior trim to match the body color of their Ford GT.

Ford plans to build 500 units of the Ford GT with each costing around $450,000. At the heart of every GT will be a twin-turbo V6 EcoBoost engine making something in the range of 600 hp. With supercars like the Lamborghini Aventador in sight, the new Ford GT does look rather promising.
