Update: UGR Twin-turbo Lamborghini Huracan sets new half mile world record

A twin-turbo Lamborghini Huracan just broke the half mile world record by clocking a top speed of 238.6 mph. Petrolheads at Underground Racing are the people who built this 2000 hp twin-turbo Huracan that started life with a puny 600 hp V10.

Underground Racing are among the front runners when it comes to such type of records. The record-setting twin-turbo Lamborghini Huracan was commissioned by Justin Herricks who has previously owned a TT Gallardo Superleggera as well.

Justin wanted his Huracan to be a one-of-a-kind. This meant using the latest and best performance parts available in the market. Creating the 2000 hp from a V10 meant installing the UR Huracan X-Version turbo system with custom turbochargers from Precision Turbo, Huracan X Version long block by Proline Racing, billet UR CNC Huracan intake manifold, 6-speed air-shifted sequential transmission with a billet differential, custom MoTeC M1 harness and firmware among others.
