Ferrari F12 based SP America for Goodwood F.O.S.
The 2014 Goodwood Festival of Speed promises to be cracker of an event. With two Koenigsegg One:1s and a limited edition Jaguar F-Type Project 7, car enthusiasts have a lot to drool over at this year’s show. One other interesting car is the Ferrari SP America. Based on the Ferrari F12 Berlinetta, the SP America will be on display at GFOS, this weekend.
Not too long ago, Ferrari revealed to the world, the rather flamboyant looking F12 TRS- a one-off created for a special customer. The SP America too will be a one-off but isn’t as bold as the TRS. That said, it does feature a reworked exterior with numerous vents and slashes, all at the right places. Moreover, Ferrari has fiddled around with the aerodynamics of the car to make it more sportier, one might guess. Underneath the bodywork is the same sonorous V12 with 730 horsepower and a dual-clutch transmission driving the rear axle.
