$4.5 million Ferrari F50 part of ousted Syrian President’s supercar collection

Syrian President Bashar al-Assad was recently ousted, following a civil war that had been going on for more than a decade. Over the weekend, Assad fled the country as anti-government forces entered the capital, Damascus. Now, videos showing the former president’s supercar collection have surfaced online.

The video currently circulating on social media is believed to reveal just a part of what is said to be a massive collection of cars. Three red cars stand out in this particular video. Among them is a Ferrari F50, valued at around $4.5 million.

The F50 was built to celebrate Ferrari’s 50th anniversary. With only 349 cars produced, it’s one of the most highly sought-after models today. Earlier this year, a restored example went for $5.5 million at auction.

Next to the F50, is a Ferrari F430 Spider and a Lamborghini Diablo. There’s also an Aston Martin Rapide, an Audi R8, a Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG, and a Bentley Continental GT. We also spotted several Mercedes-Benz S-Class sedans, SUVs, and even a Rolls Royce Ghost.
