Aston Martin Valkyrie production to end soon
Aston Martin is slowly winding down the production of the Valkyrie hypercar. The carmaker has confirmed that the final customer car will roll off the assembly line before the end of this year.
The Aston Martin Valkyrie has been in production for the last 3 years. By end-2024, the company would have built 275 units, which include 150 Valkyrie coupes, 85 Valkyrie Spiders and 40 examples of the Valkyrie AMR Pro track car.
The hypercar is powered by a 6.5-liter V12 hybrid that produces 1140 hp, enough to take it from 0-60 mph in 2.5 seconds.
Last week, the Valkyrie set a new production car lap record around the Silverstone circuit in the UK. It set a lap time of 1 min 56.42 seconds with Darren Turner at the wheel.
Next year, Aston Martin is preparing to enter IMSA and the World Endurance Championship (WEC) with the Valkyrie LMH.
