Oilstainlabs HF-11 supercar debuts with a flat-six engine that revs to 12000 rpm
Oilstainlab, a California-based supercar maker, has revealed its latest creation, the HF-11.
The HF-11 is a limited-edition supercar of which, only 25 examples will be produced, with prices starting at $1.85 million. 11 cars will be equipped with what the company calls the ‘Maniac’ pack.
The HF-11 is based on a carbon fibre monocoque that was designed and developed in-house. While the car is all about performance, the designers have made sure the cabin is large enough for a driver measuring up to 6 feet 3 inches in height.
Just like the exterior, which reminds us of old Porsche race cars, the interior too, is heavily inspired by them. The driver is presented with five circular analogue dials and a flat-bottom steering wheel.
The HF-11 is powered by a mid-mounted flat-six engine that revs to 12,000 rpm and generates 650 hp. It can be mated to either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed sequential transmission. While performance figures haven’t been published yet, the car is said to weigh just 907 kg.
Interestingly, Oilstainlab also offers a pure electric option. We’re not sure who in their right mind would opt for it, but it’s there.
