Bugatti Tourbillon: Harry’s Garage takes an in-depth look at the V16 hypercar

There are a tonne of videos on the new Bugatti Tourbillon on Youtube already, but I don’t think you will find a better video that takes a close look at all the details of the new V16 hypercar than this.

Harry Metcalfe was recently invited to Bugatti’s Molsheim HQ to checkout the new Tourbillon. He was given a quick tour of the car parked in the customer lounge alongside a bare chassis. The same car and carbon chassis were showcased at Pebble Beach in August.

As you’re aware, the Tourbillon is the replacement for the Chiron. The next-gen hypercar is truly an engineering masterpiece, which is something the brand has now become synonymous with.

At the heart of the Tourbillon is an 8.3-liter naturally aspirated V16 engine that produces 1000 hp @ 9000 rpm and 664 lb-ft of torque. It is paired with three electric motors for a combined output of 1800 hp.

The transmission is an 8-speed dual-clutch unit. Bugatti claims a 0-62 mph time of 2.0 seconds, while 0-186 mph comes up in less than 10 seconds. The Tourbillon can reach 248 mph from a standstill in under 25 seconds!
