Nilu27 V12 hypercar breaks cover; Promises 1070 hp & 250 mph top speed

Ex-Koenigsegg designer Sasha Selipanov has finally revealed his latest creation – the bespoke Nilu27 hypercar. It will make its public debut during the Monterey Car Week, later this month.

The Nilu27 hypercar has been designed and built from the ground up. Its design was inspired by Formula 1 cars from the 1960s and American muscle cars. It has a sleek, aerodynamic look that blends modern surfaces with design elements from some iconic supercars of the past.

The Nilu27 has a glass canopy with gullwing doors. The mid-mounted V12 engine and drivetrain are completely exposed to the elements with little bodywork around them. A triple exhaust sits in the centre with a massive diffuser below it.

The Nilu27 hypercar is powered by a 6.5-liter naturally aspirated V12 engine developed by New Zealand-based Hartley Engines. It produces 1070 hp @ 11,000 rpm and 634 lb-ft of torque at 7000 rpm. The engine is mated to a 7-speed manual transmission.
