Exclusive! Aston Martin AMR Valiant coming soon; details inside
The Aston Martin Valour was launched as part of the brand’s 110th anniversary celebrations last year. Production of this special edition V12 coupe was limited to 110 units. This year, the automaker plans to reveal a more track-focused version of Valour. According to our sources, the new model will be called AMR Valiant.
The upcoming Aston Martin AMR Valiant will be even more exclusive than the Valour. It is said that production could be capped at just 40 units, making it more desirable and also a bit more expensive.
The exterior design of the AMR Valiant will be similar to the Valour, except for a few modifications. We have heard that the car will feature a fixed rear spoiler, unlike the integrated ducktail of the Valour, wider fenders and a more aggressive front splitter, side skirts and rear diffuser. It is also likely to get lightweight magnesium wheels fitted with carbon fibre aero covers.
It carries forward the same 5.2-liter twin-turbo V12 engine. However, on the AMR Valiant, this engine is tuned to 720 hp and will be paired with a 6-speed manual transmission. It will also get a titanium exhaust and Multimatic ASV dampers.
While there’s no official word on the AMR Valiant yet, more details regarding its launch date are awaited.
