Limited-edition Lamborghini Huracan STJ revealed; marks end of V10 era
Lamborghini has revealed one last limited edition of the Huracan to celebrate the iconic V10-powered supercar. Only 10 examples of the Huracan STJ will be produced, marking the end of an era.
The Huracan STJ (Super Trofeo Jota) pays tribute to the Lamborghini one-make championship established in 2009. With the Huracan STO as a baseline, Lamborghini Squadra Corse technicians have created a bespoke aerodynamics package for the STJ. It includes two new carbon fibre flicks and a tweaked rear wing that is said to increase the aerodynamic load by 10% while keeping the car perfectly balanced.
Lamborghini has also made changes to the suspension with an aim to improve the mechanical grip. The Huracan STJ comes with adjustable racing-derived shock absorbers on all four corners. The car rides on 20-inch centre-locking wheels shod with special Bridgestone Potenza Race tires.
At the heart of the Huracan STJ is the iconic naturally aspirated V10 engine that delivers 640 hp @ 8000 rpm and 417 lb-ft @ 8000 rpm. The engine is mated with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox, which sends power to the rear axle.
The Huracan STJ is available in two different configurations and livery options. Both versions feature a special, numbered carbon fibre plate marked “1 of 10”.
