Parking a supercar on the streets of London overnight? Well, it might not be a good idea. It’s not just car thieves that you need to worry about, but also vandals.
@supercarseurope was filming a Ferrari 812 Competzione A in a posh area of London when he spotted something weird – there was a screw lodged inside the keyhole. Someone may have tried to break into the car, or perhaps it was vandalized.
Although modern cars have several electronic safety systems in place, thieves have found ways to bypass them as well. Some believe that this person might have tried to physically break into the Ferrari after failing to disable the security system.
London saw an increase in car thefts in 2023. According to statistics, 36,133 “theft of a motor vehicle” crimes were recorded between June 2022 and June 2023, up from 27,771 in the same period in 2022.
