This Ferrari 812 Competizione spec looks straight out of NFS Unbound
Ferrari showcased a one-off 812 Competizione at Pebble Beach. According to the company, the spec was inspired by a “blank sheet”, however, we’re getting NFS Unbound vibes from it.
What makes this 812 Competizione unique are the handcrafted details both on the exterior as well as inside the cabin. These replicate the exact flow lines created by Ferrari Design Director Flavio Manzoni back when the model was still in its design phase. The carmaker claims that the process of painting each flow line took over a year to complete.
Besides the unique spec, the 812 Competizione is stock underneath. The naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V12 engine develops 830 hp and 510 lb-ft of torque. The powerhouse revs to 9500 rpm and delivers the power to the rear axle, propelling the coupe to 62 mph in 2.85 seconds. 0-124 mph comes up in 7.5 seconds, while its top speed is rated at 211 mph.
Ferrari was not the only manufacturer working on a handcrafted spec though. At the same event, Bugatti showcased the one-off Chiron Super Sport “Golden Era” with an intricate hand-painted exterior graphic.
