Rimac Nevera beats Koenigsegg’s 0-249-0 mph record
The Rimac Nevera is back in the news! This time, it has set not one but 23 records in a single day.
The Nevera electric hypercar set a new world record for the fastest production car to go from 0 to 249 mph and back to 0, beating the previous record set by the Koenigsegg Regera. The Nevera did it in 29.94 seconds, while the Regera took 31.49 seconds.
During this run, the Nevera went on to beat several other records. It managed to sprint to 60 mph in 1.74 seconds. 124 mph came up in 4.42 seconds, and it hit 249 mph in 21.32 seconds.
The Nevera hit the quarter mile in 8.26 seconds, and the standing mile time was 20.62 seconds.
The record run was held at the Automotive Testing Papenburg (ATP) facility. The car used for the run had a special livery inspired by Mate Rimac’s E30 BMW e-M3 electric car.
