Aston Martin has given us another glimpse of the upcoming DB12. The DB11 successor will make its official debut on May 24, 2023.
The latest teaser released by Aston Martin on social media showcases the DB12’s front end, the biggest update being the headlamps. The car has a new LED signature and gets a contoured bonnet.
The side profile of the DB12 looks similar to its predecessor, with the vents on the front fenders being carried over as well. We hope they’ve addressed the issue faced by DB11 owners of dirt and muck getting spat out of the vents.
We’ve been told, that the DB12 will also get an all-new infotainment system with a dual-screen setup. Unlike previous systems, this one is said to have been developed in-house by Aston Martin.
Under the bonnet, the new Aston Martin DB12 is likely to get an AMG-sourced twin-turbo V8 engine. It is said to have been modified by Aston and develops around 650-690 hp.
Sources also indicate that a V12 version of the DB12 may not be on the cards. That being said, we hope that Aston Martin will offer the V12 in its special editions at least.
