Tag along with a Mercedes-AMG One hypercar in third-person
You may have tried the Mercedes-AMG One hypercar in Forza Horizon. The view, I’m sure, would be similar to what you will see in this video.
Thanks to modern tech, we are able to tag along with an AMG One on a hot lap around the Nurburgring GP circuit. The Insta360 action camera mounted to the rear wing of the car gives a third-person view, just like in a racing game.
The video also gave us a chance to listen to the F1-derived 1.6-liter twin-turbo V6 engine. The internal combustion engine is paired with four electric motors for a combined output of 1049 hp. It propels the AMG One from 0-60 mph in 2.9 seconds, and to a top speed of 219 mph.
While the AMG One was designed to be a Formula 1 car for the street, it doesn’t sound like one. That’s because the engine, though borrowed straight from Lewis Hamilton’s championship-winning machine, doesn’t rev that high.
