Rumor: Ferrari to launch V6 Hybrid supercar (F171) on June 24
We had earlier reported that Ferrari was planning to unveil it new V6 hybrid supercar (codenamed: F171) around mid-June. Now, according to a FerrariChat member, the supercar could be revealed on June 24.
The upcoming V6 hybrid model is touted to be the little brother of the SF90 Stradale, which is also a hybrid. Unlike the SF90, the new model is powered by a V6 engine and a hybrid system that is said to generate over 700 hp. Some reports even put the total output in the 800 hp+ range. Also, it will have a rear-wheel drive layout, as opposed to the all-wheel drive SF90.
In terms of its styling, the V6 hybrid is expected to be based on Ferrari’s new design language for mid-engine supercars. We can expect to see a few design elements inspired by the iconic 246 Dino and Dino 206 SP. Speaking of the Dino, Ferrari hasn’t built a V6 supercar since it went out of production.
This being the next-generation Ferrari, we expect the interior too be some what similar to the SF90. A contemporary design with a touchscreen, digital instrument cluster and haptic switches.
