200 MPH Aston Martin DBS Superleggera Top Speed Run
The folks at AutoTopNL are not new to testing supercars at full speed. Recently, they took the Aston Martin DBS Superleggera out on the Autobahn for a high speed run.
In the acceleration tests, the DBS Superleggera did 0-62 mph in 3.95 seconds, while 0-124 mph came up in 10.07 seconds. The car hit the quarter mile in 11.21 seconds at about 143 mph. As you can see the DBS Superleggera keeps on accelerating all the way to nearly 200 mph.
The Aston Martin DBS Superleggera is the hottest version of the DB11. The 5.2-liter V12 engine has its output bumped up to 715 hp and 664 lb-ft. The engine is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission that sends power to the rear wheels.
According to Aston’s official figures, the DBS Superleggera does 0-62 mph in 3.4 seconds. It will reach a claimed top speed of 211 mph. Aston also offers a Volante variant, which is slightly slower than the coupe.
