2015 Ford Mustang RTR with 725 hp revealed at SEMA show
Vaughn Gittin Jr. has unveiled his latest creation at the 2014 SEMA show. Based on the 2015 Ford Mustang, the new Mustang RTR developed by the famous drifting star will be available from January 2015 in two packages; Spec 1 and Spec 2.
The 2015 Mustang RTR features loads of performance improvements over the stock Mustang. The Spec 1 package is a purely aesthetic upgrade that includes a chine spoiler, rear spoiler, diffuser, side sills and upper and lower grille element. The Spec 2 package will certainly cost more but comes with performance upgrades like adjustable dampers and sway bars, lowered springs, custom Magnaflow exhuast, cold air intake and more importantly, a supercharger.
So what’s the result of all these updates, you might think. Well, the stock 2015 Mustang produces 435 hp, the Mustang RTR makes 725 hp (O-M-G!). That’s clearly more than the Dodge Challenger Hellcat and perhaps more usable as well, thanks to the race-spec suspension and other mods.

In fact, according to Gittin Jr. himself, “the new Mustang RTR is the best handling fun-to-drive RTR to date.”
