McLaren 720S (P14) to be Previewed Next Month

McLaren is expected to reveal their upcoming 650S replacement to a select group of customers next month. The rumored McLaren 720S codenamed- P14 will be previewed in front of prospective customers in New York and Los Angeles. The official launch of the new Super Series model will take place at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show.
The news first broke on McLarenlife forums where buyers were discussing their invitations to a sneak preview of the new McLaren 720S. Local dealers have invited prospective customers and current McLaren owners for the event which has been organized for buyers on east and west coast of the US.

Now, the 650S replacement allegedly called the McLaren 720S has already been teased by the British car maker. McLaren had earlier released an image of the carbon fiber monocoque that underpins the new Super Series model. It promises to be lighter and much faster than the 650S. It has been designed to be an everyday supercar. So, ingress and egress has been improved by lowering the sill.
The same basic twin-turbo V8 engine will power the new model. However, it has been re-engineered heavily for better performance. In fact, some reports suggest, total capacity could be increased to 4.0-liters allowing the engine to produce around 710 hp. A new “track mode” will also be introduced on the 720S.
