$6 million Red Bull RB17 hypercar to be unveiled in 2024

The Red Bull RB17 hypercar was announced in 2022. It will be the company’s first production hypercar, which is all set to be revealed this year.

In a recent interview, Red Bull F1 Team Principal Christian Horner confirmed that the RB17 will be unveiled in 2024.

RB17 is being developed by Red Bull Technologies – the engineering division of the Red Bull Racing Group. The technical team behind the hypercar is being led by none other than Adrian Newey.

“Adrian, with his wealth of experience, is able to mentor and develop that team – as well as designing the RB17 – our first ever track sportscar, which will be unveiled in 2024.” Horner said.

Last year, Technical Director Rob Gray revealed that the RB17 would be powered by a V8 mild-hybrid producing around 1250 hp. The car is expected to be ultra-lightweight and would feature extreme aero, along with F1’s latest ground effect technology.
