$3 million GMA T50 high-speed run; Clocks 180 mph during SOC 2024
A $3 million GMA T50 was part of this year’s Supercars Owners Circle meeting. TFJJ caught up with the action at an airstrip, as the cars were lining up for a high-speed run down the runway. He even got to ride along, giving us a rare perspective of how it’s like to ride shotgun in one of the V12 supercars.
Gordon Murray’s T50 is a truly analogue supercar with an old-school manual gearbox. Shifting between ratios is slower compared to some of the modern machinery that was part of this year’s event. However, the driving experience is unlike any other, as you will see in the video shared by TFJJ.
The GMA T50 is powered by a 3.9-liter, naturally aspirated V12 engine built by Cosworth. The engine produces 654 hp @ 11,500 rpm and 344 lb-ft @ 9,000 rpm. It is the highest-revving naturally aspirated road car engine ever built, revving to 12,100 rpm!
