206 MPH Autobahn run in a Lamborghini Aventador SVJ
The guys at AutoTopNL recently reviewed the Lamborghini Aventador SVJ. Of course, the review wouldn’t have been complete without a top speed run on the Autobahn.
The Aventador SVJ may not be as sophisticated as some modern supercars, but it certainly isn’t slow. The 6.5-liter naturally aspirated V12 engine makes 759 hp and 531 lb-ft of torque. It is paired with a 7-speed single-clutch transmission. 0-62 mph comes up in 2.9 seconds and will do a top speed of 219 mph. In this video, the reviewer managed to hit 206 mph (indicated).
The replacement for the Aventador is already in the works. What we know so far is that the V12 engine will live on, albeit with hybrid assistance. That said, it will be an all-new engine and not a supercapacitor-based mild-hybrid like the Sian FKP 37.
