205 mph BMW Alpina B8 GT debuts; Most powerful Alpina ever made

Specialist BMW tuner Alpina, which is now part of the BMW Group, has revealed the B8 GT. Based on the BMW M850i Gran Coupe, it’s the most powerful Alpina ever made.

The Alpina B8 GT packs a 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 engine that has been upgraded to produce 625 hp and 627 lb-ft of torque. That’s 12 hp and 37 lb-ft more than the standard B8. The engine is paired with a ZF-sourced 8-speed automatic transmission.

Alpina claims the four-door coupe can sprint from 0-62 mph in 3.3 seconds and has a dizzying top speed of 205 mph.

The B8 GT gets the signature Alpina design treatment both on the inside and out. The car has sportier bumpers, side skirts and a rear diffuser with quad exhausts. It rides on the Classic 21-inch forged wheels. Inside, you get a leather all around with wood trim, different graphics and badges.
