2025 Porsche Taycan facelift debuts; Turbo S packs 938 hp

Porsche has finally unveiled the 2025 Taycan. The brand’s flagship EV has not only been given a makeover but also packs a bigger punch, making the Taycan Turbo S the quickest production Porsche ever made.

The 2025 Porsche Taycan is available in base, 4, 4S, Turbo and Turbo S trims, with prices starting at just over $100,000. It is also available in the Cross Turismo body style.

However, we are more excited about the Taycan Turbo S. With 938 hp from its new dual electric motors, this car is more powerful than the 918 Spyder. Porsche also claims a 0-60 mph time of just 2.3 seconds.

The Taycan range is now offered with a new battery with revised cell chemistry. Battery capacity has gone up from 93.4 kWh to 105 kWh in the high-end variants and 98 kWh in the base models.

The new battery is also said to be lighter than its predecessor. It can now charge from 10-80% in 18 minutes at 320 kW. The energy-regeneration capability has also improved from 290 kW to 400 kW.
