2025 Porsche 911 Carrera T with a 6-speed manual is a pure driver’s car
Porsche has revealed the updated 911 Carrera T for the 2025 model year. It is available in both coupe and cabriolet body styles and will go on sale next summer.
The 911 Carrera T is the purest form of the 911 – a proper driver’s car. Powering it is a rear-mounted 3.0-liter flat-six engine. It now delivers 388 hp and 331 lb-ft of torque to the rear axle via a 6-speed manual gearbox. And yes, that’s the only transmission option for this car.
Porsche claims that if you’re quick enough, the Carrera T can sprint from 0-60 mph in 4.3 seconds, while the Cabriolet does it in 4.5 seconds. Top speed is pegged at 182 mph.
Porsche has also made some changes on the chassis side. The new Carrera T features revised anti-roll bars and gets rear-axle steering and Porsche Torque Vectoring as standard. Braking performance has also been improved.
The Carrera T is the lightest variant of the 911 weighing in at just 3,316 lbs. The car features lightweight glass, reduced sound deadening, and is even available with optional carbon fibre seats.
