2025 Corvette ZR1 sporting stars & stripes spotted at the Nurburgring

The 2025 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 made its global debut in July this year. GM engineers are currently busy fine-tuning what is being described as the most powerful ‘Vette ever, at the Nurburgring.

Unlike most prototypes seen at the Nurburgring, which are covered in camouflage, the ZR1 test mule was completely undisguised and had an interesting spec as well. As you can see, it had a Red Mist Tincoat metallic exterior with black wheels and a carbon fibre rear spoiler. Moreover, the stars & stripes decal on the front is a nice touch and really makes it stand out.

The new Corvette ZR1 is powered by an LT7 5.5-liter twin-turbo V8 featuring a flat-plane crankshaft. It generates 1064 hp and 828 lb-ft of torque and revs to 8000 rpm. Chevy claims a sub-10 sec quarter-mile and a top speed of over 215 mph.

Besides the ZR1, Chevrolet is also testing its flagship supercar, the Corvette Zora, at the Nurburgring.
