2025 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 leaked ahead of debut; Gets a 1064 hp V8!
The 2025 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 is all set to make its global debut in a few hours from now. However, we’re sure you guys are dying to know more about the most hardcore C8 Corvette till date. So, here are some details that will definitely make jaws drop.
The new Corvette ZR1 is powered by a 5.5-liter twin-turbo LT7 V8. It uses a flat-plane crank and revs to 8000 rpm. The result is 1064 hp and 828 lb-ft of torque. That’s right, 1000+ hp in a stock Corvette.
GM has also made some changes on the outside. Looking at these images, the ZR1 looks quite similar to the Corvette Z06, except for a few details. The C8 ZR1 has a reworked front fascia that not only looks a tad aggressive, but should also aid with aerodynamics. Speaking of aero, there’s a large wing at rear. The lower portion of the rear bumper has been blacked out and houses the quad exhausts.
Other details worth mentioning include the redesigned hood with its extractor vents, the front splitter and aero strakes on the sides and blacked out wing mirrors and roof.
