Bentley has launched the fourth generation of its flagship limousine, the Flying Spur. The 2025 Bentley Flying Spur uses a brand-new V8 hybrid engine, making it the most powerful four-door model ever produced by the brand.
Unlike the new Continental GT, the new Flying Spur retains the same overall design. It carries forward the same imposing grille flanked by a pair of oval LED headlamps. The rear features a clean look with LEDs shaped like the ‘Flying B’.
While the overall look and feel of the interior might be the same – plush and exquisite, the new Flying Spur gets upgraded tech. The optional Wellness Seating Specification is now available on all four seats. This includes Seat Auto Climate and Postural Adjust, which measures and maintains the perfect body temperature via zoned heating and ventilation. The air conditioning system now includes air ionisers, a new particulate matter filter and displays showing air quality outside and inside the vehicle. Improvements have also been made to wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity.
That being said, the biggest changes are under the skin. Powering the Bentley Flying Spur is a new 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 Hybrid paired with an 8-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. It delivers 771 hp and 738 lb-ft of torque, 19% more power and 11% more torque than the old W12 version.
The new Flying Spur can also run in pure EV mode. The electric motor provides 187 hp and 332 lb-ft of torque and a 25.9 kWh battery gives it a range of 47 miles.
The Flying Spur Speed now comes with Bentley Performance Active Chassis as standard. It includes Bentley Dynamic Ride and all-wheel steering. The car also gets an electronically controlled limited-slip differential and twin-valve dampers all around.
