The 2024 Subaru WRX TR has been revealed ahead of its official debut. The car will be presented at Subiefest Florida on October 7, 2023.
The Subaru WRX TR is a slightly modified version of the WRX. The company claims that the changes have made the car shaper and more enthusiast-focused.
For starters, the WRX TR comes with stiffer springs and re-tuned dampers that are said to improve body control, while a re-tuned steering rack offers a sharper response. Inside, you get Recaro seats wrapped in black and grey Ultrasuede upholstery.
The WRX TR rides on 19-inch wheels with Bridgestone Potenza S007 tires. The new tires along with upgraded brakes featuring Brembo calipers are said to improve the braking performance, and speaking of brakes, the WRX TR is equipped with 340 mm front and 326 mm rear rotors.
The Subaru WRX TR is powered by a 2.4-liter turbocharged boxer engine that makes 271 hp and 258 lb-ft of torque, which is sent to all four wheels via an active torque vectoring system.
When we saw the leaked images of the Subuary WRX TR, the first thing that caught our eye was the massive rear wing. Unfortunately, it will not be available on the US-spec WRX TR.
