2024 Range Rover Sport SV Debuts – 4.4L V8 develops 626 HP

Range Rover has just launched the new Range Rover Sport SV. Compared to the outgoing Range Rover Sport SVR, the new SUV does drop not only the R letter, but also the supercharged 5.0L V8 motor from JLR.

What’s new in the 2024 Range Rover Sport SV?

For starters, the exterior of the car is more or less the same as before, however, the main update is inside. The 2024 Range Rover Sport SV comes with front seat transducers that vibrate as per the music. Further, the music can be played by a 29-speaker, 1430W Meridian sound system. These seat transducers are known as Body and Soul Seats (BASS), which allows the front occupants to literally feel the music. Apart from music, they also come with a wellness program that is claimed to calm down the occupants. To this effect, there are six tracks, namely Poise, Soothe, Serene, Cool, Tonic and Glow.

In terms of optional extra, owners can spec their Range Rover Sport SV with 23-inch carbon fiber wheels. These hold the record for being the world’s first 23-inch carbon fiber rims. Not only do these look good, but also reduce 80 pounds from this hefty SUV.

Then there are the optional carbon ceramic brakes that further reduce the weight by 75 lbs. A carbon hood will also be available that can reduce a further 168 lbs.

Engine and Performance of the 2024 Range Rover Sport SV
