2024 Pebble Beach Concours to feature GT1 race cars & prototypes
The annual Pebble Beach Concours is one of the most prestigious car shows in the world. This year, the organizers have decided to feature an expanded range of cars with the aim of attracting younger collectors.
The 2024 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance will feature race cars and prototypes, besides pre and post-war models. This includes sports cars like the Jaguar E-Type, Ferrari 250 GT and the Shelby Cobra, as well as race cars from the BPR Series like the McLaren F1, Mercedes CLK GTR, Porsche 911 GT1, Ferrari F40 and even a Bugatti EB110.
We will be following the journey of the Bugatti EB110 Sport Competizione as it makes its way across the pond from Europe. This image shows the car being loaded onto an airfreighter in Amsterdam.
Pebble Beach Concours will also be celebrating the 125th anniversary of Packard with a special class of Packards ranging from single-cylinder horseless carriages to the 1930 Packard 734 Speedster. Wedge-shaped concept cars from the 1960s through to the 1980s will be one of the highlights of this year’s event.
