2024 Mercedes-AMG GT spotted in the wild for the first time

Mercedes-Benz took the wraps off the all-new AMG GT during the 2023 Monterey Car Week. The car has now been spotted in the wild for the first time.

The 2024 Mercedes-AMG GT was seen at the fuel station, close to the Nurburgring Nordschleife. This car, featuring a deep red exterior and gold wheels, looks just perfect. Note that it does not have the optional aero package, which is what we would prefer. That being said, there are no badges denoting the variant.

As you may be aware, the Mercedes will initially offer the AMG GT in two trims. The entry-level GT 55 packs 469 hp and 516 lb-ft of torque from its twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8. On the other hand, the GT 63 has 577 hp and 590 lb-ft, enabling the car to sprint from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.1 seconds.

Both the “63” and “55” models feature all-wheel drive and a 9-speed automatic transmission. The hotter version can reach a top speed of 196 mph, while the base model attains a still-impressive 183 mph.
