2024 Mercedes-AMG GT has a little crash doing donuts at Goodwood

Mercedes-Benz showcased the upcoming AMG GT at the recently concluded Goodwood Festival of Speed. The automaker brought a rather colourful prototype to the event, which unfortunately had a little crash.

The video shows the Mercedes-AMG GT prototype doing donuts after one of its runs. What surprised us is how the car looks hefty and struggles to break traction. When the rear wheels finally start spinning, the AMG GT lumbers around and crunches into the hay bales.

The 2024 Mercedes-AMG GT is expected to be powered by a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine. It will also get an S E Performance variant featuring a hybrid powertrain. Rumors suggest it could pack 831 hp and a mind-boggling 1,033 lb-ft of torque.
