2023 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 to be revealed on October 26

We’re super excited about the upcoming C8 Corvette Z06. We’ve only seen prototypes of the car and heard its glorious flat-plane V8 until now. But, that’s about to change as Chevrolet has finally announced the date for its official reveal.

Save the date as the 2023 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 will break cover on October 26, 2021!

Here’s what we know about the new Corvette Z06 so far –

Like the standard Corvette, the Z06 will also get an optional Z07 package. It is expected to include a more aggressive aero package with an active rear spoiler and carbon fiber wheels.

But, it’s the engine that has got us more excited about the new Z06. It will use a flat-plane V8 derived from the C8.R race car. It revs to 9000 rpm and is said to produce more than 600 hp.

The flat-plane crank gives the motor a very different character. Perhaps the purists would’ve preferred the burbling-old V8. Having said that, it would certainly be a step up over the old motor.
