2022 Cayman GT4 RS leaked via Porsche watch marketing material

The team at Porsche’s marketing division which handles official merchandise, especially watches, may have inadvertently leaked the 2022 Cayman GT4 RS.

Official images of a new Porsche Design watch have surfaced online. While the watch itself looks rather sweet, it’s the car in the background that’s getting everyone’s attention. It’s the upcoming 718 Cayman GT4 RS, and Porsche seems to have created a special watch to go with it.

The hot 2-door coupe will be powered by a 4.0-liter, flat-6 engine producing around 500 hp. It will be paired with a slick 7-speed PDK.

GT4 RS will also get other track-focused upgrades, including stiffer suspension. The car will also get an upgraded aero package featuring an aggressive front end, NACA ducts on the bonnet and a large rear spoiler.

The Cayman GT4 RS is expected to be unveiled on November 17 or 18, 2021.
