2021 Porsche 911 Turbo S proves its mettle yet again

The 2021 Porsche 911 Turbo S is just mighty quick. In a recent drag race, it beat a McLaren 600LT Spider.

We’ve seen numerous drag races where the 911 Turbo S has come out on top. When the guys at Carfection pitted it against a 600LT Spider, the outcome was no different. The lighter McLaren was no match for the mighty Porsche. That said, the result doesn’t surprise us. In the recent past, the new 911 Turbo S has even beaten the more powerful McLaren 720S.

Let’s take a look at some specs.

The 600LT Spider is powered by a 3.8-liter, twin-turbo V8 engine that delivers 600 hp and 457 lb-ft. It has a power-to-weight ratio of 457 hp-per-tonne. The rear-wheel drive supercar comes with sticker Pirelli P-Zero Trofeo R tyres.

The 911 Turbo S packs a 3.8-liter, twin-turbo flat-6 engine that pumps out 640 hp and 590 lb-ft of torque. Besides the sheer horsepower advantage, the all-wheel drive system also gives it an edge over the McLaren.
