2021 Lamborghini Countach takes on the mighty Stelvio pass

Top Gear’s Ollie Marriage took the Lamborghini Countach to one of the most picturesque places in the whole of Europe – the Stelvio pass in Italy. The following video isn’t a review of the re-imagined Countach, though. Still, it’s worth a watch if you love supercars.

The press car provided by Lamborghini is white and blends into the surroundings. However, that didn’t bother us as our eyes were focused on the V12 beauty all the while.

The Stelvio pass is a narrow and fairly bumpy piece of tarmac that winds its way up the Italian Alps. The scenery is no doubt stunning. However, the Countach seemed like overkill in this part of Italy.

As you’re aware, the Lamborghini Countach LPI 800-4 is based on the Sian FKP37. It uses a 6.5-liter V12 engine mated to a hybrid system that uses a supercapacitor instead of a conventional lithium-ion battery. It produces 814 hp, which is a lot for a twisty and narrow road like this.
