Brochure Leak: Is this the 2020 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500?

Images of what’s claimed to be the leaked brochure of the 2020 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 are now online. Let the theories begin.

Jalopnik has got a post online right now which is being frequently updated. The post covers the possible leak of the 2020 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 brochure. The images seem to feature the actual deal and if it indeed is the real material then the upcoming muscle car does pack a punch in terms of form and substance.

There has been multiple leaks in the past few months and the latest confirms many of the theories which were doing the rounds. The car shown in the brochure does match the one that we saw in the images leaked from the Ford event held last year.

According to the leaked marketing brochure, the 2020 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 will be powered by a 5.2-liter cross-plane crank V8 aided by an Eaton supercharger. 755 hp of power, 700 lb-ft of torque, 0-60 mph in 3.5 seconds and a quarter mile in 11 – all are fascinating numbers. The transmission will be a TREMEC 7-speed dual-clutch automatic unit on launch and hopefully, a manual version will follow.

Since Jalopnik cited Facebook page Chicane63 as the source of the images, we checked out the aforementioned page, to find that they are attributing the image credits to a certain Justin Young on the social media platform. While we still wait for Ford Performance to let the official word out, all of us are sure about one thing. Justin has just broken the internet with these images.
