2017 Nissan GT-R Track Edition Revealed

Nissan has revealed the 2017 Nissan GT-R Track Edition – a version of the monstrous “Godzilla” packing more performance than the standard model and priced just below the GT-R NISMO.

For over a decade, the Nissan GT-R has set benchmarks in performance, handling and sheer acceleration. Each year, Nissan engineers made incremental improvements which have lead us to the 2017 Nissan GT-R. Now, apart from the flagship NISMO version, Nissan has introduced a GT-R Track Edition. Here’s what it’s all about.

2017 Nissan GT-R Track Edition

The Nissan GT-R Track Edition gets Bilstein Damptronic suspension developed specially for it. To improve straight-line performance as well as cornering, Nissan has revised the suspension setup with a race-tune and lightweight anti-roll bars.

It retains the same 3.8-liter twin-turbo V6 engine from the standard 2017 GT-R. Peak output is pegged at 562 hp and 470 lb-ft which drive all four-wheels via a super-quick dual-clutch transmission. The sprint from 0-60 mph takes just over 3 sec.
